Switzerland’s most famous green roofs

The Green Roof Competence Centre of the University of Applied Sciences Zurich is organizing a trip to Switzerland’s most famous green roofs. 2-day green roof excursion Welcome will be held on 10-11 June 2010.

Members of the Polish Green Roof Association (PSDZ) are granted 20% discount.

Establishing of the Polish Green Roof Association

The Polish Green Roof Association, Polskie Stowarzyszenie Dachy Zielone (PSDZ), was officially established in April 2009. In the first general meeting in June 2009 the authorities were appointed and the members agreed on the priorities of action for the upcoming months. Recently, the organization became member of the European Federation of Green Roof Associations (EFB).

PSDZ brings together 24 members from a wide range of organizations and fields, including university centers, architects, producers and contractors of green roofs. The association has been created to ensure that the strong interest in green roofs in Poland is able to counter the lack of clear guidelines and policy at both the building and the national level.
