Creating landscapes on roofs is the next milestone after the industrial revolution. Modern technology now enables us to make areas of recreation and greenery on roofs. However, this is achieved at the high cost of financing and designing. Polish law considers the value of green areas on roofs as being half the value of areas on natural ground. Yet, there is no difference in the quality of the actual greenery. It depends on actual biomass on which it is produced. Extensive greenery is treated as equivalent to that in areas with trees.
